TINKERING INK PEEK A BOO BOOK

I finally finished the book I planned on putting together for a Geraldine. Nearly a month ago I had posted this paper by reminisce, the collection called "Catch me if you can." I just loved this paper for boys. There just isn't enough good paper out there for boy projects. Its funny because I have nearly scrapped all my sons sports photos and loved the paper so much I decided to do it for a good friend. Notice I didn't journal it on purpose I will leave that to Preston's mom to do!!! It turned out so cute and the subject is pretty darn cute too!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did, putting it together.

RECIPE SWAPS

Had a great weekend preparing these 6 x 6 2 page recipe swap layouts for a crop this month.
I can't wait to see what everyone else does. I am excited to get a bunch of new recipes as well.

We are in groups of 10 people and each person does 10 exact layouts and then we all exchange them at the crop should be lots of fun.
This weekend you'll find me in Ruskin at a Breast Cancer Crop. Email me for details $35.00 for all day.

Whim So Doodle

Had a great weekend attended a scrap yard sale in the Carolwood area and picked up a few things. I also attended a crop at Whim So Doodle in downtown St Petersburg. This is a great store and the Saturday crops are awesome for $40 you get 3 meals and access to all (over 600 I'd say) their die cuts including Quickutz. So many things to choose from as well and everyone is so friendly. I would suggest this crop to everyone and I hear it rarely sells out usually runs from 10 am to 10 pm. I didn't get alot of layouts done but I did cut out some great embellishments with their dies cuts. Don't forget CHA is this weekend and Aug the 8th is the Cancer Crop in Ruskin.

Happy Scrappin.

RIBBON ORGANIZATION

See 1 of my ribbon boxes! I have 5 of these. Yes 5! When I go to a crops I am the embellishment girl. I take the ribbons, buttons, brads, eyelets & flowers for everyone to share. My friend takes her Quik Kutz Machine and "ALL" her die cuts, which is alot. This way we don't both drag alot of stuff. It works out great for us.
I wanted to share the way I organize my ribbons with everyone as I have nearly 90 different ribbons stored in this little plastic bin. I think it is actually used for organizing DMC Floss, it sells for about $2.99. I also buy the DMC floss organizer cards to wrap my ribbon on. This is a great space saver. Just imagine how much space you are saving discarding those ribbon spools.

I am off to a Hill Top Memories crop for the weekend in Valrico Florida and I expect to get alot done. Maybe I will get the Tinkering Ink Peekaboo chipboard book done I posted earlier lets hope so. The problem is I am running out of photos so I need to borrow my friends photos to finish the book. Its crazy to do someone else's scrapping but what's a scrapaholic to do!

Build a Bear Layout

What an experience this place is!
I think my daughter has about 6 of these Fuzzy Friends herself and she is 13 yrs old. I guess they never really grow out of stuffed animals.
On this particular visit to Build A Bear she made a special monkey for a friends birthday, whom had moved away. She took her first plane trip alone to delivery her new furry friend she named "AJ" this is for Amber and Jordanna her name and friends name.
This was an adventure worth documenting as I was so sad about her flying alone but I got through it and she found her way just fine.

Happy Scrappin!

PEEKABOO BOOK BY TINKERING INK

Last night I came to the realization that I can not scrapbook everything I have and that I am running out of photos. OMG What's a scrapbooker to do without photos? Guess I will have to take more or reprint them and do different books; like the project here with a Peekaboo Board Book By Tinkering Ink. The paper I will use is by Reminisce the "Genuine Boy Collection" I will accent with bazzil card stock. The colors are perfect and I can't wait till it's done. Here is a sneak peek of what the paper looks like? Check back in a week or so for the finished project.

GREAT FOR BOYS!! UNH!
